Server Administrator Database Support Assistant

Position: Server Administrator Database Support Assistant

Responsibilities
-> Ability to work in a team.
-> Ability to work under pressure.
-> Ability to solve problems with creative algorithms.
-> 100% fluent in English (Verbally and written)

Skills And Qualifications
-> Create and maintain all databases required for development, testing, and production usage. (MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL Server).
-> Perform the capacity planning required to create and maintain the databases.
-> Plan, design and implement various database high availability solutions.
-> Perform ongoing tuning of the database instances.
-> Install new versions of the RDBMS and its tools and any other tools that access the database.
-> Plan and implement backup, recovery, performance, re-organizations and ensure security of the database.
-> Provide technical support to application development teams.
-> Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data.
-> Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches.
-> Good knowledge of Linux Command Lines and version controlling system GIT.
-> Experience in all aspects of Linux Server including Installation, Configuration, Administration, troubleshooting and best practices.

Education: BSc. in CSE or similar from any UGC-approved reputed university.
Experience Requirements: Minimum 1 to 2 year(s) experience in the relevant field
Salary Range: 18000 BDT
Job location: 2/23, Razia Sultana Road, Mohammadpur, Dhaka (or work from home )

Office Time:

9:00 AM – 6:30 PM (including lunch and prayers time)
Lunch & Snacks will be provided

Work from Home
10.00 am to 6.30 pm Sunday to Thursday
09.00 am to 2.00 pm Saturday
